Product Details

The Liberty Pet Door Replacement Flap is the flap-only part for an existing Liberty pet door. Use it when the original flap has yellowed, cracked, or been chewed, and the frame is still in good shape.

The flap is clear vinyl rated from 0°F to 120°F. Six sizes cover the full Liberty lineup (Cat Flap, small, medium, large, XL, XXL). Each size is offered in two cuts: one for Door and Wall Mounts and one for Slider and Window Panel Inserts. The cuts differ because the frame geometry differs.

Before ordering, identify which Liberty product you own and which size. The size is usually printed on a sticker on the inside of the frame or visible in your original order. Pick the matching size, then pick the mount-type that matches your door: Door and Wall Mounts for door and wall products, Slider and Window Panel Inserts for the slider, vinyl panel, and window panel products. If the magnets or weatherstripping are also worn, replace them at the same time.

Number of Flaps:

  • 1 - Single Flap: Flap on the inside of the door (same side as locking cover). 
  • 2 - Double Flap: One flap on each side. The included dead-air-space and extra flap add significantly to its insulation and sealing values.

Step 1 REMOVE THE SCREWS

  • Remove the screws at he top of the flap with the Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 2 REMOVE THE FLAP

  • Remove the flap from the pet door frame.

Step 3 REPLACE THE FLAP

  • Slide the new flap into the metal threshold.
  • You can use soapy water to make sliding in the flap easier.

Step 4 TIGHTEN THE SCREWS

  • Tighten the screws until the flap is secured.
